ZRL RACE 4 - DOUCE FRANCE (TTT)
We headed to France for race four of the eight-race season and the first TTT. The shorter the two TTT's scheduled this season, the picturesque Douce France route proved to be fast, rewarding teams with smooth watts and teamwork.
What was evident from the outset was that our approach in using the Thursday TTT series to hone our skills and communication paid off. Congratulations to our teams, Tavi, Avosetti, Liro, Mallard, and Sinisorsa, who all achieved a top 6 in their respective leagues. A podium 3rd for Sinisorsa has us buzzing!
The time gaps weโre always going to be close, but this close! Our three A Grade teams crossed the line within 37 seconds of each other (2 seconds between Pyy and Liro). Only 64 seconds separated our seven B Grade teams and 43 seconds our two C Grade teams.
Bragging rights to teams Liro (A Grade), Teeri (B Grade), and Mallard (C Grade).
Also, a shout out to Cisco, Lewis, and Randy, who achieved new FTP records!
All up our strongest week of racing as a team, and we're just firing up!
